VOORHEESVILLE – Marianne E. Baldwin, 57, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2005 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's, after a long illness. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna Rimmer. Mrs. Baldwin was a Guilderland resident for 37 years before moving to Voorheesville four years ago. She graduated from Cardinal McCloskey High School in 1966. Marianne is the beloved wife of 37 years to James R. Baldwin. She is the devoted mother of James T. Baldwin and his wife, Kellie and Richard L. Baldwin and his wife, Michele, all of Guilderland and Melissa Led Duke and her husband, Spencer of Voorheesville. She is the sister of William (Rosemary) Rimmer and Alan (Harriet) Rimmer. Marianne is the cherished grandmother of Jimmy, Kyle and Ryan Baldwin, Derick Baldwin and Ashley, Spencer and Shawn Led Duke. Marianne is also survived by her mother-in-law, Mary Baldwin of Guilderland.
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 10:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Evergreen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Marianne E. Baldwin.
