COLONIE – Marie A. Audi, 87, of Colonie, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2009 of natural cause.
Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Trinchera. Mrs. Audi was an Albany resident for most of her life and worked for the NYS Department of Tax and Finance for 25 years and ran her own coffee shop on Eagle Street right across from her husbands cab stand at the DeWitt Clinton Hotel. She loved being with family, traveling, casino trips, Yankee games, her love for cooking was obvious as soon as you walked through her door, and never missed one of her grandsons baseball games, she would tell everyone how she loved to watch Louis hit that ball. She especially enjoyed raising her grandchildren and spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Marie is the cherished grandmother of Joseph (Sherry Kirkpatrick) Perretta and Louis Perretta and the loving great-grandmother of Andrea and Anthony Perretta. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Louis J. Audi and her sisters, Josephine Adinolfi and Laura Delmonte.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday morning at 10:00 at St. Francis de Sales Church, 1 Maria Dr. There will be no calling hours. Entombment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis de Sales Church, 1 Maria Dr. Loudonville, NY 12211 in memory of Marie A. Audi.
