Marie A. Mackowiak

COLONIE – Marie A. Mackowiak passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Valentine and Josephine Mackowiak. She lived in Colonie for over thirty years. Marie worked for the New York State Teacher's Retirement System for many years until her retirement. Marie is the loving sister of Katherine Elston, Claire (William J. Jr.) Adams and Paul Mackowick. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
