West Albany – Marie C. Gauthier, 51, passed away Saturday May 15, 2010.
Marie was born in Albany a daughter of Patricia (Ingraham) Gauthier and the late Harold Gauthier and was a lifelong area resident. She worked in printing for many years most especially Caughtry's of Albany. Marie enjoyed football being an NY Jets and NY Bills fan. She liked horseracing, bicycle riding, garage sales and was fond of writing poetry. Marie had a love of all animals and they loved her.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her siblings: Harold Gauthier, Jr., Virginia Gauthier, Michael Gauthier, Rosemary Cooper and Christopher Gauthier and many nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her brother Daniel Gauthier.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday 7:00pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Mohawk Hudson River Humane Society, Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204.
