Albany - Marie D. Deitz , 75, entered into eternal life on Thursday, April 14, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Eugene and Dorothy Mesick Hedgeman.
Marie will be forever missed by her daughter: Rosemarie (Juan Sr.) Leto-Felix; son: Scott (Seana Gill) Deitz; grand children: Juan (Nicole) Felix Jr., Nina (Bryan Whittaker) Felix, and Brooklyn Rose Deitz; sisters: Jean Hedgeman, and Phyllis Jacobson; brothers: Joseph (Patricia) Hedgeman, and Robert (Margaret Sevrie) Hedgeman; great grand son: Marcello Joele Felix; 2 future great grand children; 2 close friends: Jeanne Aveyard, and Nadine Mink; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Marie is predeceased by her: sister in law: Susan Hedgeman; brother in law: Gerald Jacobson; and dear friend: Arlene Leto.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, on Monday, April 18th, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 19th at Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Ave, Albany, at 9:00 am. The burial will follow Mass at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Marie's name to the COPD Foundation at: 3300 Ponce De Leon Blvd, Miami, FL 33134
