Hansen, Marie ALBANY Marie Hansen, 75, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at home on August 11, 2021. She was born in Reichenhall Freilassing Germany. Marie worked for the school lunch program at Catherdral Academy and Hackett Middle School. Marie was most passionate for her work at St. Peter's Hospital as a Nurse Technician. Marie loved adventure, road trips, camping and visiting family in Florida. She was truly loved by so many. Marie was a strong, independant and most courageous, with a heart larger than her personality. Marie is survived by her mother Vaike Kask; and her three children, Vaike, Jim and Hilda. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Nick, Jordan, Rebecca, Nina, Tatiana, Mitchell, Zachary, Eric and her eight greatgrandchildren, and her beloved cat Rocky. All friends and Family welcomed to attend her graveside service that will take place on Friday, August 20, 2021, at 10:45 a.m. in Memory Gardens Cemetery, 983 Watervliet Shaker Road, Albany.
