Marie Miller

COLONIE- Marie ( Lovey) F. Miller, 88, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Thursday July 27, 2006 at the Teresian House Nursing Home. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late John and Nora Ryan Sullivan.
She was predeceased by her husband Alfred in 1968 and her son, Thomas in 2005. Along with her husband, they had operated the former Underpass Diner for many years. Marie was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy in Albany. She was a communicant of St. Clare's Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. Marie was a member of the HB Kuhn Seniors and the St. Clare's Senior Citizens. Marie's family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the wonderful staff of Mt. Carmel at the Teresian House.
Marie is the beloved mother of Linda (William) Serritella, Elaine Miller-Angerami, Maribeth (Frank) Orciuoli, Gregory (Lori) Miller, Robert Miller, and Scott (Shiela) Miller. She is the mother in law of Carmina Miller and Richard Angerami. Marie is the cherished grandmother of Jessica (Eric) Recene, Daniel (Katrina) Miller, Anthony, Christopher and Kevin Miller, Kayla Miller, William Serritella Jr., Ryan (Erin) Serritella, Aaron and Matteo Angerami, Marisa, Natalia and Rocco Panetta and Thomas Antonio Miller; Great grandmother of Celina Rose and Jacob Daniel, Nicolas Robert and Jayden Thomas.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 8:15 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to St. Clare's Church at 9:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Sunday from 3 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
