ALBANY- Marie Panella, 93, formerly of Albany, passed away on Wednesday March 1, 2006 at the Hoosick Falls Health Care Center after a long illness.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Carl and Jennie Poggoli Lombardo. Marie was predeceased in 1996 by her beloved husband Joseph Panella.
She is the beloved mother of Joseph Panella and his wife Adele of Clifton Park. Sister of Rita Vagnone, Sam Lombardo and the late Theresa Mercuri, Anna Campolungo and Sonny Lombardo. She is the grandmother of Dena M. Hazzard and Michael Panella. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Monday morning at 10:00 at St. Teresa of Avila Church where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. There will be no public calling hours. Entombment will be in Memorys Garden.
