Marilyn J. Corbitt

Albany- Marilyn J. Corbitt, 78, passed away at home on Monday, October 23, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Charles & Mary Ryan. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 57 years, John W. Corbitt.
Marilyn was a lifelong resident of Albany and was one of twelve children. She retired from the State of New York and was a devout member of Blessed Sacrament Church. She had a love for animals and had a greater love for her family and a great compassion for life.
In addition to her husband, Marilyn is survived by her children; Chuck Corbitt (the late Lisa Corbitt), Lynn Corbitt, Dennis Corbitt (Kim) and Tim Corbitt (Shannon). She is also survived by her six grandchildren & two great grandchildren.
Marilyn is predeceased by six siblings.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Community Hospice, 295 Valley View Boulevard, Rensselaer, NY, 12144
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Ave, Albany, NY 12206.
