Albany-Marilyn A. Dillenbeck, 75, passed away Friday February 22, 2008 after a long and valiant struggle against her illness. At the time of her passing Marilyn was fortunate enough to be attended to by her five sons and seven grandchildren.
Marilyn was born in Albany the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Carroll) McMahon. She was a 1949 graduate of the Vincentian Institute and enjoyed working as an Administrator for New York Mutual Underwriters from 1969 to 1995. Marilyn had a love of beautiful horses, especially those that ran at Saratoga Race Track and was always good at picking a winner. She was a great mom, that was and is loved and will be missed very much. Marilyn's husband, James A. Dillenbeck, Jr. predeceased her.
She is survived by her sons; James of Albany, Douglas of Albany, Gregg of Niskayuna, Jeffrey of Albany and Steven of Gainesville, FL, grandchildren; Ashley, Eric, Jeffrey Jr., Gregg Jr., James, Joshua and Andrea.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
