SLINGERLANDS - Marilyn Nisselbeck, 75, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospital, with her loving family by her side.
Marilyn was born on October 22, 1939 in Tupper Lake, NY and was the daughter of the late Eulice and Iola (Payrot) Boyea and wife of the late John W. Nisselbeck.
Marilyn was a waitress for Schraff's Restaurant in Glenmont for 10 years before retiring. She enjoyed traveling and dining out, but most especially spending time with her family.
Marilyn is survived by her sons, Michael J. (Deborah) Van Alstyne and Steven J. Van Alstyne; her grandson, Nicholas M. Van Alstyne; her granddaughter, Michelle L. Van Alstyne; and her sister, Elaine (Dan) Dorrance.
At the request of Marilyn, there will be no services.
"Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that is how I'll remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all."
