Marilyn Relyea

October 17, 1937 — July 16, 2024

Marilyn Harriet Relyea, 86, of Schenectady, passed away on July 16, 2024 at Riverside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.

She was born in Troy to the late Marlin and Marguerite Smith.

Marilyn worked for Stewart's Shops for over 17 years. She was a proud grandmother and great grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years Luther, daughter Robin, and brother William.

Marilyn is survived by loving children, Cindy Relyea-Butler (Thomas), Mark Relyea, grandchildren Gabrielle, Marcus, Max and Marshall, great grandchildren, Riley, Monique and Oscar, her brother Robert Smith (Agnes), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 11:30am to 1:30pm with a service to follow at 1:30pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd , Colonie, New York.

Interment will take place in Memory Gardens .
