Colonie- Marilyn R. Servideo, 81, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on July 19, 2018. Born on June 11, 1937 in Albany, NY, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Hebert) Ryan.
Marilyn graduated from Vincentian Institute in Albany. She then worked many years as a secretary and key punch operator at N.Y.S. Department of Environmental Conservation. She was a communicant of The Church of St. Clare in Colonie. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved garage sales and shopping for her friends and family. Marilyn was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Anthony S. Servideo; her children: Anthony (Donna) Servideo and Lisa (Ted) Soltys; grandchildren: April, Andrea (Michael), Lauren and Jacqueline; her great-granddaughter, Amelia Mary; her brothers: Robert Ryan and John Ryan. Marilyn is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be missed by her good friend, Maureen (Mike) Biance. A special thank you to dear friend and neighbor, Raye Goodfriend.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Paul Ryan, her sister, Jean Kaczmarek and dear friend Tina DiCioccio.
Visitation will be from 9 am to 10 am on Monday, July 23 at The Church of St. Clare, 1947 Central Ave., Colonie. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 am at the church. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marilyn's name to The Community Hospice, Gift Processing Center, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
