DUANESBURG- Marilyn Ann Sheehan, 82, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2021 at home with her family.
She was born on March 22, 1939 daughter of the late Stephen and Ann (Fitzgerald) Fiato.
Marilyn attended the Vincentian Institute and Maria College. She was an animal lover and owned and fostered several cats throughout her years.
She was the beloved mother of Lisa Burns (Robert), Christopher Sheehan (Angel) and Victoria Dawson (David), grandmother of Bobby Burns, Sarah Sheehan, Meagan Karl, Monica Karl and Samantha Karl. Devoted great grandmother to Miya and Shayna Sheehan. She is also survived by her brothers Stephen Fiato (Mary) and Timothy Fiato along with several nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
Marilyn was predeceased by her son, Bruce Sheehan, husband, Thomas J. Sheehan; brother, Joseph S. Fiato, granddaughter Danielle A. Sheehan.
There will be no services, however donations can be made to the Animal Protective Foundation located at 53 Maple Ave., Schenectady, NY 12302.
