ALBANY – Mario F. Pizzemento, 85, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 13, 2007. He is now with his beloved late wife, Millie. Mario was born in Bridgeport, CT and was the son of the late Paolo and Phyllis Pizzemento. He was a World War II Army Air Force veteran, serving in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of Union Local #190 for many years and also worked for Albany County Social Services. Mario enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved Atlantic City and playing bingo. He enjoyed riding the bus with his many friends. Marion was a real people person. Mario is the brother of Joseph Pizzemento and his wife, Lucy and the late Tina Fedor. He is the brother-in-law of Betty Palmer and Dominick and Val DiBlasi. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews that he loved very much. Mario's family would like to thank the staff of the Dialysis Center of Albany, the Ann Lee Nursing Home and Hospice for all of the care given to Mario.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday morning at 11:00 at St. James Church, Albany. Calling hours will be Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
