Marion A. Quirk, 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Apr 02, 2013 at Albany Memorial Hospital, with her loving son by her side. She was born on Jul 31, 1929 in Albany, NY to the late Oscar and Helen Garnett. Marion enjoyed cooking, gardening, vacationing with her family and her beloved canine companion, Shamus. In addition to her parents Marion was predeceased by her loving husband Robert P. Quirk, her brother Harvey Garnett and her sister Josephine Murphy.
Marion is survived by her cherished son, Kevin R. Quirk; her nieces Michele Warrell and Susan (Robert) Chiesa and many grand nieces, nephews and close friends and neighbors.
The family would like to thank the staff at Albany Memorial Hospital for the care given to Marion. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian burial which will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00am at St. Pius X Church, Loudonville. Interment will follow the Mass in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
