WATERFORD- Marion Almy, 82, passed away peacefully at Albany Medical Center on July 10, 2021.
She was born in Cohoes, the daughter of the late Lillian and Joseph Nedoroscik and (step father) Stephen Hayostek. She was predeceased by her siblings: Karen Lasek, Joseph Nedoroscik and Barbara Weaver.
After retiring from the Watervliet Arsenal, she had a second career at Matthew Bender.
Marion enjoyed doing activities with her grandchildren and family. While living at Schuyler Ridge, she enjoyed Bingo and sitting outside in the warmth of the sun.
She is survived by her children: Bill (Amy) and Michele Wayne); grandchildren: Brian (Precious), Wayne Jr., Morgan, Madison and Makenzie; great grandchildren: Milani and Majesty; brother, Gary (Cathee) Hayostek.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Albany Med and Rubin Dialysis of Clifton Park for the care and support given to Marion and her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Monday July 19, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. A service will follow at 12 Noon. Interment will be in St Michael's Cemetery, Waterford.
