COLONIE – Marion A. Baranowski, 77, of Colonie, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at St. Peter's Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a resident of Colonie for 31 years. Mrs. Baranowski worked for Modern Kitchen of Albany for 15 years before her retirement. Her whole life was devoted to her family and spending time with them. Marion is the beloved wife of 47 years to Edward J. Baranowski. She is the devoted mother of Joseph Baranowski and his wife, Mimi of Colonie and Bonnie Rose Houck and her husband, Andrew of Cypress, CA. She is the cherished grandmother of Alissa, Kaitlyn and Joseph Sean Baranowski, Philip Adikes, Chelsea and Michael Hodis and Abigael Houck. She is the sister-in-law of Lucy Pizzingrillo of Brooklyn, NY
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Marion's life on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155- south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern NY, 85 Watervliet Ave., Albany, NY 12206-2083 in memory of Marion A. Baranowski.
