Marion Blake

Marion Blake (Alisa Khotsenko), 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center, Guilderland. Marion was born in St. Petersburg, Russia to the late Yakov and Nina Khotsenko. Marion worked as a music teacher for many years at School #210 in St. Petersburg before moving to New York. She enjoyed history, literature and collecting art books.
Marion is survived by her son, Jonathan (Donna) Blake and her grandchildren, Libby and Katie.
The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center who took such great care of Marion for six years.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 1:30 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center, 2 Mercycare Lane, Guilderland. A calling hour will precede the Mass from 1:00 to 1:30. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mercy Life Center, 2 Mercycare Lane, Guilderland, NY 12084.
