Marion C. Russell

NISKAYUNA – Marion Caroline Russell, 87, of Niskayuna, passed away on Thursday June 11, 2009 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Brooklyn and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Anna Hammer. Marion was a loving mother and wife and will be greatly missed.
Marion is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Robert W. Russell. She is the devoted mother of Deborah A. Winslow, Robert F. Russell, Suzy L. (Gerry) Elfering, Lori J. (Terry) Scheuer and Paula M. Young. She is the sister of Viola Sandberg and the late Frederick B. Hammer. Marion is the cherished grandmother of Joseph Lewis, Melissa (Jeremy) Nadeau, Christopher Lewis, Nicholas Young, Ana Nuzback, Joseph Nuzback, Kyle Elfering, Melissa Scheuer and Sabrina Rourke. She is the great grandmother of Gabriella Nadeau and Narella Nuzback.

Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 11:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Monday from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden.
