Marion E. Phillips

Marion E. Phillips, 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at home. Marion was born in Ballston Spa to the late Francis and Edith Delaney. Marion started her working career with Beeline fashions as a regional sales manager, and then continued with House of Lloyd and later ended her career at Walmart.

She loved her cat, Snuggles, "Big Boy".

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband, Anthony Phillips who passed on December 31, 2003; and her brother and sister, Sonny and Betty.

Marion is survived by her beloved children, Linda (Chuck) Frye, Michael (Carol) Phillips and Joseph Phillips. She is the adored grandmother of, Christina, Tanya, Michael, Anthony and Nicholas. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, Kristina, Angelica, Zander, Brandon and Anthony and many nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends and her sister-in-law, Aunt Blondie.

Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
