Scotia – Marion Wolff, 83, passed away Sunday February 8, 2009 at the Joan Nicole Prince Home. Born in West Fulton, she was the daughter of the late Corwin and Eunice (Fancher) Denny. Marion worked as a Senior Payroll Clerk with the NYS DCJS for over seventeen years. She was accomplished in sewing, knitting, crocheting and other crafts. She was also a 4H Leader. The State Street Presbyterian Church was a very big part of Marion's life. She was a member and secretary of the Trustees, an Elder of the Church and served on the Interfaith Committee. Marion was predeceased by her husband George of 56 years, in January 2006.
Marion is the beloved mother of Kristine (John) Wells of Chesterfield, VA, Linda (Christian) Manss of Altamont, Elise (Dennis) Magilton of Guilderland, Douglas (Lisa) Wolff of New Windsor, MD and Sharon (Donald) Dadmun of South Portland, ME. She is the cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Lisa and Jeffrey Wells, Johann and Grenn Manss, Victoria (Warren) Hull, Jessica Magilton, Christine and Benjamin Wolff, Sarah and Daniel Dadmun and the late Sandra Magilton. She is the loving great-grandmother of Sierra and Drake Nester, Chase Taylor, Tristan Garris, and Leon Cutler, Jr. She is the sister of Doris Palmer, Corwin Earl Denny, Dale Denny and the late Vivian Smith.
The funeral service will be held 10:00am Thursday at State Street Presbyterian Church, Schenectady. Calling hours will be Wednesday 4:00 to 7:00pm at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.). Interment will be at Schenectady Memorial Park.
