Marion Greene

REXFORD – Marion L. Greene, 82, of Rexford, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2006. She was born in Pulaski, NY and was the daughter of the late Matthew and Myrtle Brown. Mrs. Greene has been a resident of Rexford since 1955. She worked for General Electric Co. from where she retired. Marion was an accomplished artist, and for many years, showed her work in the Stockade. She is the beloved wife of 51 years to William M. Greene. She is the devoted mother of Gary Greene and his wife, Virginia of Bow, NH, Robert Greene and his wife, Ellen of Moline, IL and Janet Aitchison and her husband, Tom of Middleway, WV. Marion is the sister of Annie Matachiero of Latham and Bob Brown of Sachetts Harbor, NY. Also surviving are nine cherished grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter in memory of Marion L. Greene.
