Marion I. Hammer

Marion Hammer, 81, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 at home with her loving family by her side. Marion was the daughter of the late Earl Stover and Shirley Owens. Marion was the devoted wife to the late Robert C. Hammer. They were married over 20 years.

Marion was known for her compassionate heart often opened her home to those in need whether it be with two legs, four legs or two wings.
Marion's greatest love and source of pride was time spent with her family. For those that knew her best could find her escaping for an afternoon at the local casino.

Marion is survived by her Daughters Donna M. (Nicholas) Robilotti, Cynthia (Darren) Schaperjahn, Darlene S. (Michael) Farron, and Michelle (Clyde)Starkey; Grandchildren Ashlee Robilotti, Meghon (Schaperjahn) Ellingsworth, Vitalo Robilotti, Brittany Farron, Reinhold Schaperjahn, Danielle (Farron) Arpey, Michael and Morgan Starkey; Great grandchildren Salvatore Citone, Mia and Hailee McCluskey, Nicholas Robilotti, Edward and Archer Ellingsworth, Zoey and Spencer Arpey and several nieces and nephews.

Marion is predeceased by her siblings Earl Stover, Diane Buckley and Cheryl Bloss.
Visiting hours will be held July 19, 2024 from 9:00 to 11:00 am. A funeral service to follow immediately 11:00 am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - Colonie Chapel, 343 New Karner Road. Graveside will follow at St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery 303 Sand Creek Rd., Colonie, NY
