Marion J. Bologna

EAST GREENBUSH, NY – Marion J. Bologna, 89, passed away at home on Monday, November 01, 2010, All Saints Day, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Jennie Grieco. She resided in Albany for most of her life before moving to East Greenbush nineteen years ago. After high school, Marion attended Hudson Valley Community College. She worked for the College of St. Rose and then the N.Y.S. Dept. of Taxation and Finance before retiring. Marion was an active member of Full Gospel Tabernacle of Rensselaer for thirty-four years. She will fondly be remembered as a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always loved being with her family. Marion was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Bologna. She is the devoted mother of Bernadette (Bill) Dawson of East Greenbush, Anthony J. Bologna, Jr. of Clifton Park, Margie (Leo) Pusatere of North Greenbush and her nephew, whom she thought of as a son, Joe Semione. She is the cherished grandmother of Candice (Mike) Agne, William (Erin) Dawson III, James Dawson, Joshua Bologna, Kelly (Ed) Hernandez, Joel (Megan) Bologna, Nicole Bologna, Anthony J. Bologna III, Amber Pusatere, Leo Pusatere III and Mark Pusatere. She is the loving great-grandmother of Renée, Noelle, Michael, Lee, William IV, Kennadee, Gavin, Arya, Gianna, Gabby, Ava, Taylor, Vincent and Giovani. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 12:00 noon at Full Gospel Tabernacle of Rensselaer. A calling hour will precede the service from 11:00 to 12:00 at the church. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
