Marion Jean Hake, 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Van Rensselaer Manor surrounded by her loving family.
Born August 3, 1931 in Albany, she was a daughter of the late Henry Ellis and Lena Elizabeth Graves Donnelly.
Survivors include her sons David Hake (Janet), Ernest Hake, John Hake and Edward Hake (Holly); daughters Jeanne Hake and Carrie Hake-Soto (Raymond); Sister Lois Donnelly of San Francisco, CA and Brother Richard Donnelly of York, PA. Marion is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A visitation to honor Marion's life will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 4-7 P.M. at New Comer Funeral Home 343 New Karner Road, Albany.
Marion was a lover of animals so to honor her memory in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ASPCA 424 E. 92nd St New York, NY 10128-6804.
Arrangements have been entrusted to New Comer Funeral Home, Albany, NY.
