Voorhesville-Marion Kiernozek, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center.
Born on August 18, 1933 in Mexico, New York, the daughter of the late Harold and Mae Rhinemann Chapman.
Marion is survived by her loving family, children, Bonnie VanderBogart (Kirk), Alice Kiernozek, Rita Stone and John Kiernozek; siblings, Dana Chapman, Susan Chapman Peal-Howard and Nelson Chapman; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Marion was predeceased by her husband, Chester Kiernozek; daughter, Catherine Kiernozek; son, Thomas Kiernozek and a brother, Gordon Chapman.
A memorial service for Marion will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 11am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, 12205. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Angels, Albany.
