DELMAR- Marion L. Cannone-Hoffman, 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 13, 2016.
Marion was born on March 20, 1935 in Albany, NY to the late William Arvel and Evelyn Marion Jones, and was raised on her family farm in East Hebron, NY. She moved to Albany where she worked at Montgomery Wards. Later in life she worked at Handy Dandy Cleaners, in Delmar, NY, where she was a loyal employee for over 15 years. Her passion in life was her family. She is the proud mother of five children.
She is predeceased by her brother, William E. Jones, and her sister Beatrice Shibley.
She is survived by her children; Paul Cannone, Pam (Jim) Held, Frank Cannone, Tony J. (Sharon) Cannone, and Michael J. Cannone, her grandchildren; Jessica, Anthony Jr., Robbie, Christopher, Steven, and William, her great-grandchildren; Brittany, Grace, and Alex, her siblings; Margaret Hall, and Milton Jones, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 4:00pm-6:00pm, with a service to immediately follow. Burial will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
