ROTTERDAM JUNCTION – Marion L. Caparco Miller, 83, devoted to her Savior, Jesus Christ, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 18, 2014 into her eternal rest blanketed in love from children and grandchildren beside her.
The measure of her life is forever written in the hearts of the many lives who were so blessed to have been touched by her.
Marion was predeceased by her husband, Homer (Bob) F. Miller, her parents, Nicholas and Angeline Caparco and her siblings, Mildred Diglio, Evelyn Haley, Carmelia Campolo and Nicholas Caparco Jr.
She is survived by her children; Angela Dembrosky, Carmen (Debra) Campolo Jr., Linda Rizzo (Gene Insogna), MaryAnne Campolo and Mark Campolo. She is the cherished grandmother of Erin (Mark) Jehle, Michelle (John) Moricone and Ricardo Rizzo of Albany, Michael, Eric, Matthew and Samuel Campolo of North Salem and Angelina, Danielle and Nickolas Campolo of Austin, TX. Great grandmother of Abigail Spaulding and Liliana Moricone. She is the sister of Rita Ori and Richard (Ann Marie) Caparco. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 5 to 7 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. A service in celebration of Marion's life will follow at 7:00pm at the funeral home. At the request of the family, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Marion L. Miller.
