Albany - Marion M. Flynn of Albany died suddenly on Monday July 5.
With her husband Ray, they opened one of the earliest ski resorts in New York State, Snow Haven in Altamont, NY which they ran in the late-forties. Marion later worked as a portrait colorist for Frumkin Studios in Albany before starting work with the New York State Police, where she worked both at Troop G in Loudonville and NYS Police Headquarters on the State Campus. She retired from the New York State Police in 1978. Marion was predeceased by her husband, Raymond G. in 1981 and son Terrance P. in 1996 and also by several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Michael R. Flynn, daughter Deborah (Flynn) Mustico of Delanson, NY, grandchildren Patrick, Conor and Ryan Flynn of Omaha, NE, Jaqueline (Flynn) Milham of Albany and Denise Mustico of Delanson, her sister Marguerite DeBoer of Tulsa, OK and several nieces and nephews.
