Marion Muldoon

COLONIE, NY – Marion Muldoon, 87, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011. She was a Colonie resident for the past 48 years. Marion was employed with the South Colonie School District for many years before retiring. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening. Marion was the beloved wife of the late Francis F. Muldoon for 61 years until his passing in 2004. She is the devoted mother of Terry Muldoon of Galway and Brian (Fredericka) Muldoon of Colonie. Marion is the cherished grandmother of Kristen, Jennifer (Guy Robinson), Shawn, Jeffery, Marcie and Stephanie Muldoon and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her dear friend, Elizabeth Brown. Marion's family would like to extend a special thank you to Diamond Hill Nursing Home and Community Hospice of Rensselaer for all of the care and support given to her during her illness.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 in memory of Marion Muldoon.
