Marion Rose (Glynn) Skelley, passed away on February 20, 2024. She was born in Chatham in 1929.
She graduated from Albany High School and was employed at various restaurants until she became a wife, mother and homemaker. She returned to work when her children were older and retired from the NYS DMV.
She was predeceased by her husband of more than 51 years, Raymond, her son Edward and her son-in-law, Charles Norling.
She is survived by her children Donald Skelley of Colonie, Donnarae Norling of Niskayuna and Michael (Paula) Skelley of Loudonville. Also survived by her grandchildren Jill (Keri) Skelley, Jennifer (Kathleen) Savino, Caitlyn (Justin) and Taylor Norling and Mark (Carolyn) Hyman. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her canine companion, Sean.
All services will be private at the convenience of the family.
The family would like to thank Loudonville Assisted Living and the Community Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. Those wishing may make a donation to the Community Hospice or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
