Marjorie A. Czwakiel

January 14, 1955 — December 16, 2021

Marjorie A. "Margie" Czwakiel, of Clifton Park, passed away peacefully on December 16th, 2021 at the Troy Rehabilitation Center. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of Joseph A. and the late Marjorie P. Morano. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Bert J. Czwakiel. Raised in Maplewood, Margie attended Maplewood Elementary and Cohoes High School. She held various positions with New York State, retiring from the Office of Children and Family Services. Margie loved cats, most especially her beloved cat, Willy. She also loved playing bingo.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her father Joseph Morano of Maplewood, her sister Lori Morano of Pleasantdale, her brother Anthony Morano, also of Maplewood, her uncle Ben Morano of Troy and several cousins. She was predeceased by her mother, Marjorie, and her sister, Pamela. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204.
A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Delmar. Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10am with interment following at Oakwood Cemetery. All are welcomed. To leave a special message for the family please visit NewComerAlbany.com.
