Marjorie Ruth (Perry) Martratt, age 95, wife of Omer L Martratt Jr., passed away peacefully on January 11, 2023 at her home in Delanson, NY
Born on September 27, 1927 in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late Thaddeus B. Perry Sr. and Ruth E. (Stott) Perry.
Marjorie was graduated from Rensselaer High School from the class of 1945.
Her last job was working for the State of New York in the Criminal Justice department retiring in 1985.
She is survived by her daughter Melinda H. Moran and her husband William H. Moran III, of Delanson, NY, son Christopher O. Martratt Sr. and his wife Mary V. (Vincent) Martratt of Schoharie, NY; four grandsons, William H. Moran IV of Delanson, NY, David T. Moran and his wife Heather (Reed) Moran, of Duanesburgh, NY, Jacob K Martratt of Schoharie, NY and Christopher O Martratt Jr. of Schoharie, NY.
She is also survived by four great grandchildren Bradley, Tyler, Corey and Ashley Moran of Duanesburgh, NY, and her brother Gerald F. Perry and his wife Deborah (O'Neil) Perry of Loudonville, NY, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Marjorie is predeceased by her husband and her brother Thaddeus B. Perry Jr. (Sonny).
A Memorial Service will take place on Monday, April 10, 2023 at 10:00am at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871. For those who plan to attend, please arrive to the cemetery by 9:45am. When you arrive, please park to the right as you enter the gate and you will receive further instructions.
