Marjorie R. Golembieski

LOUDONVILLE – Marjorie Rose Kessler Golembieski, 74, went home to heaven on September 19, 2011 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany on September 20, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Decker) Kessler. Marge is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Joseph F. Golembieski; her devoted children, Patricia Golembieski (Kevin) Wippich, Katherine Golembieski Okrasinski and Joseph (Jamie) Golembieski and her granddaughter, Alexis Eddy. Marge is the sister of William (Mary Ann) Kessler, Kenneth Kessler, Judith (the late Robert) Sheridan, Rose (Rick) Mochrie and Sharon (the late Rocky) Rockenstyre. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Marge is the special grandmother to Little Siss, Delilah, Hero and the late Candi. In addition to her parents, Marge was predeceased by her siblings, Anne and Robert Kessler.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 9:15 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to Christ Our Light Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. (formerly St. Francis de Sales) 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Franciscan Place, 9645 Carousel Center Drive, Syracuse, NY 13290-9621 in memory of Marjorie R. Golembieski.
