COLONIE – Marjorie Agnes Sanders, died Tuesday, March 29, 2005. She was born on March 22, 1917 and was the daughter of the late James and Margaret Neil. Marge was a lifelong resident of Colonie. She married her husband, the late David Sanders on February 4, 1944. Mrs. Sanders was a homemaker and her life was her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and cherished "Nanny" to her grandchildren.
She is the beloved mother of Joseph Sanders and his wife, Linda, and Barry Sanders and his wife, Carol, all of Loudonville. She is the cherished "Nanny" of Matthew, Rebecca and Laura Sanders of Loudonville and Jennifer Amorosi and her husband, Greg, of Clifton Park. She is the loving great-grandmother of Spencer and Kendall Amorosi. Marge is the sister of John Neil of North Port, FL and the late Joseph and James Neil. She is the aunt of Joseph, John and Thomas Neil; and cousin and best friend of Carol (Signor) Marcy of Florida.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful staffs of the Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center, Cohoes, and the Heritage House Nursing Home, Troy, for taking such loving care of Marge.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Sunday from 11:00am to 12:30 pm at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Graveside services will be held at 1:00 at Beth Emeth Cemetery in Loudonville.
