Marjory Anne Banks

Marjory Anne Banks, 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec 14, 2012 at Maplewood Manor Nursing Home with her family by her side. She was born on Aug 30, 1927 in Walton, NY to the late Mahlon and Anna Rowell. Marjory had a love for music; she was a member of the "Grayairs" singing group, a deaconess at the Carman Road Alliance Church in Schenectady, also an avid member of a local walking club. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband of over 40 years Arthur Banks, a brother and two sisters.

Marjory is survived by her beloved children, Susan Semprevio, Robert Banks and Brenda (Tim) Beard; her step daughter Carol (William) Viscusi; her cherished grandchildren, Gina, Stacey, Mary, Katrina, William, Mark, Aubrey and Matthew; six great grandchildren. She is the sister of Thelma and William and she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service for Marjory will be Tuesday, Dec 18, 2012 at 12:00 pm at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 10 to 12 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
