Mark A. Tomisman

Guilderland – Mark A. Tomisman, 59, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany, he is the son of the late Richard and Marion Tomisman.

Mark is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Maureen Tomisman; his cherished daughter, Meghan Tomisman; his brother, Paul Tomisman; his sister-in-law Virginia Tomisman; and his in-laws, James and Barbara Foley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mark was predeceased by his brothers, Richard Tomisman and Kenneth Tomisman.

Mark was employed by the Albany County Department of Social Services for more than 25 years, most recently working as a Medicaid Fraud Investigator. Prior to that, he worked as a Capitol Police Officer for many years. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles and spending time with his family, who he will be dearly missed by.

Funeral services for Mark will be held on Thursday, December 11th at 10 a.m. at New Comer Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 10th from 4 – 7 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home.
