Ballston Spa – Mark Steven Baldani, 52, son of Nancy and the late Donald Baldani, died on Saturday January 25, 2014 after a brief illness at Albany Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Michelle (Ladopoulos), and his beloved sons Kevin, Kyle, and Kristofer.
Mark was a graduate of Fitchburg State College where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in business. He was employed by Seiko Corporation until 1998. He was then self- employed at MSB Sales and Promotion, and was V.P. of Sales and Business Development at Longtail Enterprises.
Mark's greatest pleasure was watching his boys play baseball, and he was their best friend. He was President of the Ballston Spa Booster Club for 4 years, and was a diehard fan of The Eagles Band and the Boston Red Sox. There was nothing Mark wouldn't do for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.
Besides his wife, children, and mother, Mark is survived by his brothers Bruce and Michael (Kelly), and sister Jill (Michael) St. George. He also leaves his nieces Julianna, Sarah, Sophie, and Sadie, sisters-in-law Cheryl (Elise), Darlene, brother-in-law Nicholas (Sara) Ladopoulos, and mother-in-law and father-in-law Marilyn and Harry Ladopoulos.
Calling hours for Mark will be held on Saturday February 1st from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral, 343 New Karner Rd. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m.
