Mark T. Colitsas passed away on December 23, peacefully in his sleep, at the age of 62, in his hometown of Clarksville NY. His battle with medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile.
He was born to John T. And Patricia A. Colitsas on December 4, 1958. He graduated Bethlehem Central School District. Mark enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, a perfectly grilled steak and mashed potatoes, desert and a good laugh. He could make the perfect sandwich. He was a great story teller and also loved hearing stories of his grandchildren's adventures. He was an old farmer at heart and was always ready to solve any gardening problem. He had a great sense of humor and his barn was always "on fire" or at least that's what he would say when he was ready to get off the phone. "I got to go; my barns on fire"
Mark is predeceased by his father John Colitsas of Glenmont NY and survived by his mother Patricia Colitsas of Clarksville NY, his two daughters Desiree Brown and husband Devon Brown of Duanesburg NY, And Nichole Carkner of Ravena NY. Mark had 7 grand children: Lillian Walter, Kendon Brown, Noah Brown, Penelope Brown, Ivory Brown, Alexander Brown and Mason Carkner and two great grand children: Matthew Walter and Eleanor Walter.
