Mark Vonda Hodgkins, Sr.

Mark Vonda Hodgkins Sr. was born on August 25, 1958 in Munich, Germany. He was son of the late David Hodgkins and Monika Burger.
Mark graduated from Guilderland High School in 1976. He joined the US Navy in 1980 and was stationed in Scotland until 1984. He then finished the remainder of his service in San Diego until 1988.
Mark passed away suddenly in his home on October 18, 2021 in Troy, NY.
Mark is survived by his brothers, Dave Hodgkins, Holger Hodgkins, and sister Rose Mattas; his children, Mark V. Hodgkins Jr., Audrey Hodgkins, Carol Lynne Hodgkins, Ben Munce, and Madyson Moran, as well as his grandchildren, Vienna and Gemma Kelly. He is also survived by his uncle, George Hodgkins and his step mother, Eileen Hodgkins.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, on Thursday October 28, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Upper Mohawk Humane Society.
