Mark Kowalski

Colonie - Mark Kowalski, 45, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 21, 2011. Predeceased by his father Francizek Kowalski, Markie is survived by his wife Allison, and his mother Jadwiga; daughter Kailey Kowalski, son Eric Kowalski; step-son David Prime, Jr.; sister Christine Kowalski, and brother Richard Kowalski. He is also survived by his extended family including Harold and Jean Shannon; Joseph and Michele Gava, Michael Shannon, James and Kathleen Lyons, Cynthia Shannon and many nieces and nephews.
Markie was a lifelong resident of Colonie and drove a truck for Conway Freight since 1995. Markie and Allison joined together in 1993 and have been inseparable ever since. Markie was truly a devoted and loving family man and his family was all he cared about. Markie fully appreciated and understood the value of life. A disciplined and strong Marine, he served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1983 to 1987. Markie valued his health; loved the ocean and enjoyed fishing; loved his music... BS-FY!
The funeral service will be held Monday 8:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
