Mark M. Iwanos

Latham, NY – Mark M. Iwanos passed away peacefully after a short illness, on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Albany Medical Center Hospital. He enjoyed fishing, relaxing near bon fires, playing guitar, watching the Tennessee Titans, and mostly spending time with his group of friends at Dee Dee's Tavern. Mark was predeceased by his parents Michael and T. Helen Iwanos.

He is survived by his partner for life, Jerilyn Sullivan and her daughter Nicole, his son Justin, his sister Helen Sowek and her husband Mike, and Helen's son David Urban; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. from New Comer-Canon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.) A calling hour will preceded the service from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery in Cohoes.
