Mark Jody Powers, 29, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.
Mark was the son of Jody C. Powers and Alice F. Powers.
He valued his family, loved spending time with them and doing the simple things. He made the best out of any situation life threw his way. He was one of a kind, never said a bad word to anyone and had a heart of gold. His smile brighten every room. He always tried to do his best, he was very competitive, loved being outdoors and was always up for an adventure.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Ruby and Jessie Dennis.
In addition to his parents, Mark is survived by his siblings, Tequila, Angel (Jhai), Matt (Shannon) and Heather (Tim), his grandparents, Nelson and Celia Powers. His nieces and nephews, Jordan, Lindsay, Caydren, Madison, Lilly, Julian, Akil, Keegan, Fiona and Alivia. He is also survived by his canine companions, Nelly and LuLu, who will miss him dearly.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Tuesday February 22, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Graceland Cemetery, Albany, New York.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204
