TROY - Mark A. Sawyer, Jr., 40, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018.
Born on March 4, 1978 in Albany and is the loving son of Mark A. Sawyer Sr. and Sandra (Meder) Sawyer. He is also survived by his loving children, Matthew P. Sawyer, Lily Rose Sawyer, Ivy Catherine Sawyer, Alexander Charles Sawyer, and Scarlett Savanna Sawyer; his brother, Eric J. Sawyer (Audrey); a nephew, Cael Clifton Sawyer and several, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mark worked for Kevin Sharpe Construction in Troy for several years, doing roofing, siding, carpentry, and painting. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, skiing and loved the outdoors.
A funeral service will be held on Monday at 4:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet. A calling hour will precede the service from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
