GUILDERLAND – Marlene A. Cochran, 79, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2012 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Wakatomika, OH she was the daughter of the late Russell and Esther (Jones) Thomas. Marlene had resided in Voorheesville for most of her life before moving to Guilderland eight years ago. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.
Marlene is the beloved wife of nearly sixty years to Theodore B. Cochran. She is the devoted mother of Camille (William) Lloyd of Voorheesville, Timothy (Janice) Cochran of Albany and Celeste (Franklin) Mahoney of Saratoga Springs. Marlene is the loving sister of Marilyn (Bill) Gibson of Reynoldsburg, OH and the late Carroll Price and Carita Brennan. She is the cherished grandmother of Lauryn, Mackenzy, Rolla, John Russell, Nicolina, Michael, Alexsandr, Amelia and August. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
