August 6, 1941 — October 9, 2014

Marlene M. Marmaduke, 73, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2014 at Ellis Hospital with her family by her side.

Marlene was born in Schenectady, NY to the late Millard and Mary (Barnes) Green.

In addition to her parents, Marlene was predeceased by her husband, Harry Marmaduke and her great grandson, Nicholas Smith Jr., one brother, one sister and one step-son.

Marlene is survived by her children, Michael (Sherrie) Marmaduke, Alice (Joel, Sr.) Winkler and four step-sons. She is also survived by her loving companion, Stan Olshefsky; her seven grandchildren,and her eight great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 in Marlene's memory.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 10:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service in Park Cemetery, Scotia.
