Loudonville- Marlene Pabon, 61, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of Olga Figueroa and the late Angel Pabon. Marlene was the devoted wife to James Roy. They were married 14 years.
Marlene worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Our Daughters of Charity Nursing Home where she provided kind and compassionate care to the residents.
Marlene enjoyed spending time with her entire family and loved cooking amazing meals for them. She always made sure to send everyone home with a good meal. Marlene loved music and dancing at home with her family. She "loved the hunt" when it came to going to thrift stores, flea markets, and auctions. One of her favorite things to do was decorating for every holiday. Most of all she cherished when everyone came together and the beautiful memories that were created.
In addition to her mother and husband, Marlene is survived by her children, Chris (Pamela) Santos, Andrew (Tika) Gonzalez, Georgianna (Joseph) Latza, and John Weinheimer; grandchildren, Luka Gonzalez, Ruelynn Latza, and a soon to be grand daughter; siblings, Richard (Norma Pellot) Pabon and Angel (Diana) Pabon; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her father, Marlene is predeceased by Harry Carnevale who she considered one of her children.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, New York , 12189 on Monday, May 13, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm .
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Marlene's name to a local food bank.
