Marshall D. Lundgren, Jr.

Marshall D. Lundgren, 51, lost his courageous battle with cancer at his home on Friday, July 26, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Albany to Catherine Lundgren and the late Marshall (Don) Lundgren Sr., Marshall graduated from Albany High School and honorably fulfilled over 23 years in the Army, retiring as a Master Sergeant. He has since been employed by JB Hunt, Inc.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Jeanne (Faranda); his adored children, Kristen (Jason) Hrusa, Ashley (Brian) Cudemo, and Michael Lundgren; his cherished grandchildren: Kyle, Jocelyn and Mason Hrusa, Joshua and Leah Cudemo; his sisters Donna(Michael) Buker and Michele (Mike Magiera) Lundgren; brothers-in-law James (Claire) Faranda, Phillip (Beth) Faranda, Brian (Jamie) Faranda, sister-in-law, Joanne (Jose) George, several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Memorial Processing Center, 6725 Lyons St. PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057-0007 in Marshall's memory.

Funeral service for Marshall will be on Thursday at 10:30 am at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
