Martha E. Sim

ALBANY - Martha E. Sim, 87, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2007 at the Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Scotia after complications from Alzheimer's.
Martha was born on August 20, 1920 in Albany and was the daughter of the late David Earing and Barbara Shants McAllister. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph W. Sim, Sr. and her sister, Harriet Foody. She was a homemaker and a devoted mother and grandmother.
Martha is survived by her children, David M. (Sharon) Sim, John J. (Margaret) Sim, Sr., Ralph W. (Geri) Sim, Jr., Larry A. (Helen) Sim and Ellen M. (James) Spencer and 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) Interment will follow at Memory's Garden in Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
